Gentle lulling from the water, Once again you’re calling me. Keeping me cool under sun, so I can enjoy all the fun.

Curacao offer a variety of beaches and pools. Here you can do anything from being completely lazy and having it all brought to you; to be all adventurous and go where almost no one goes! Depending on your preference of latter, a rental car might be handy to baldly go remotely.

City Beach 88

is – as the name says – a beach in the city, free of charge and you can also get cold drinks
and amazing pizzas. Remember to check out their social medias for happy hours, special
and other events.

Marichi Pier Beach

Is a free a small beach located in the heart of the historic district Punda. Go there in
the mornings or afternoons and remember to bring your snorkeling gear. Both under the pier and just on the outside you find one of the best snorkeling spots in Curacao.

Saint Tropez Ocean Club

What makes this place different is the whole French Rivera appearance, its

Mambo Beach

Is NOT within walking distance but you get there in 10 minutes by bus from the Punda bus station. Mambo beach features all you need for a relaxing day. Several restaurants, shops, and bars
and also several beautiful beaches, almost like a huge natural pool. Popular with families for its features
and its crystal clear waters, very fine white sand, surrounded by rocks.

Daaibooi Beach

Relaxing beach, some shadows under the palm trees and if no there, then under the palm
leaves huts. The water is beautiful and if you have closer to the rocks on the sides you will see tropical fishes in clear waters. 

So awesome place to snorkel and you can bring food and drinks.

Lagun Beach

A very natural beach with beautiful cliffs and perfect water without waves. You can see
iguanas eating the fallen fruits and other animals.

You will find two restaurants there and do bring your snorkel gear as well. It is fantastic to go out on one side, cross over and then go in on the other side. Lagun is a very nice and relaxing beach.

Cas Abao Beach

It is a good beach where you can enjoy the crystal blue waters and bright white sand
among a collection of services. It has plenty of parking, and once you have paid the registration fee, you can rent everything you need on the spot, from beach chairs, umbrellas, rowing boats and even diving equipment.

At lunchtime, you can eat hamburgers, sandwiches and frozen drinks at the Beach Bar &
Restaurant.

Piskado Beach

This small fisherman’s beach in Westpunt is great for a quick stop to see the giant sea turtles and to do a bit of snorkeling. 

Of the many places to spot sea turtles this is probably the best hance
of seeing them up close, for an extended period of time.

    Rental Instructions

    Check-in Instruction


    CHECK IN & ARRIVAL TIME

    Check in is from 11:00 (AM), but can also be earlier depending on availability. A fee for early check in may become applicable. Please contact us for more information.

    Important - In order to ensure a smooth check in, please inform us of your arrival time.

    UPON ARRIVAL TO VILLA AMALIE

    If you find your own way to Villa Amalie, then enter the gate from the street. Turn left and then right. There you find a doorbell that you press and we will be there to welcome you in 3 minutes.

    SELF CHECK IN

    We also offer self check in if you arrive at late, or early, hours. Please contact us prior to your arrival to receive instructions regarding this. On public holidays and other alike events, we might ask you to perform a self check in.

    IMMIGRATION CARD

    Upon arrival at Curaçao, you are requested to fill out an immigration card. You can do that on paper in the airplane, but you can also save time and do it at least 24 hours before scheduled arrival online.     Check-out time is latest 11:00.
    Check out later than 11:00 is also a possibility if we do not have an arrival for your room:

    A fee for early late check may become applicable. If you would like to request a late check out, please contact us

    CHECK-OUT PROCESS

    When you are ready to leave please ensure that the following simple tasks are done:

    • Ensure that the AC, ceiling fan and lights are turned off and remember to look under the bed and in the bathroom for your belongings.
    • Lock the door to your room and all gates behind you.
    • Leave the key in mailbox by the gate at the street or hand it over to one of us.

    Directions


    Prior to your arrival you can download an offline version of - e.g. - Google maps and there enter Villa Amalie. Then you have that available when arriving to Curacao.

    House Rules


    HOUSEKEEPING

    After you have stayed with us 3 nights, we will change the bedsheets and the towels that are in the room, and also do a light cleaning.

    Please remember that we can only change the towels that are in the room or the bathroom. If you should desire more housekeeping, we are happy to offer that as well against a payment.

    WATER AND ELECTRICITY

    The tap water is safe to drink.
    Electricity on the island is in general 110V or 220V. All rooms (Except room 6) has both.

    KEYS & TOWELS

    You will be provided with 2 keys, one is for your room and the other one is for the rest of the shared areas.

    Your room is equipped with 2 towels per person. The white one is for use at home, and the colored one is for the beach.
    Damage or loss of keys or towels will be charged.

    KITCHEN, KITHENETTES AND SHARED AREAS

    We ask you to show flexibility, patience, and acceptance when using areas that are shared with your fellow vacationers.

    You are expected to clean up after yourself and leave the space as you would like to receive it. This is especially important in the kitchen and also the in-room kitchenette if your room is equipped with a such.

    SMOKING

    No smoking in the rooms, smoking is allowed outside in the patio and on the sundeck.

    CONSIDERATION

    For the courtesy of others, loud music, loud noises, etc, is not allowed between 22:00 and 07:00

    PARKING

    It is free to park on the street in front of Villa Amalie. You are also welcome to park at Villa Curiel located a 2-minute walk from Villa Amalie which is monitored by security cameras 24 hours and is also free. Please contact us for directions.

    Advise! When parking anywhere on Curaçao - Do not leave anything in the car visible from the outside and if possible open compartments and remove cover from trunk so that people can see that it is empty.

    Payment Terms


    PAYMENT

    In order to secure your reservation/tour/transport, payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. If invoice is unpaid, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation/tour/transport without any further notice.

    CANCELLATION

    Reservation of tours follow the regulations of the operator and reservations of transport can be cancelled up until 24 hours before transport is to begin.

    Reservations of rooms that are cancelled 90 days prior to arrival will be refunded with 90%. Until 30 days prior to arrival, reservations of rooms will be refunded 50%.

    There are no refunds for cancellation of rooms, if cancellation is made with less than 30 days to arrival date. There are also no refund in the event that you do not show up on the day of arrival and we hold the right to cancel your stay in full.
